Frontend Team Lead

A profitable startup company developing an open-source website building platform, aiming to revolutionize how web creators build and design professional websites. The platform is used by millions of freelancers and agencies across more than 180 countries, powering over 17 million active websites worldwide accounting for approximately 11% of the internet.

The company has been operating for 8 years, is fully profitable, and does not rely on investor funding.

Headquartered in Ramat Gan (Bursa district) with around 300 employees and offers a hybrid work model of two days from home per week.

About the Role-

• Manage a team within the company’s core product.
• Lead a group of 6 senior Frontend Developers.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s Frontend infrastructure built in React.
• Provide a solid foundation used by other teams to build features.
• Perform 20–30% hands-on coding.
• Report directly to the Director.
• Work on the company’s flagship product serving millions of daily users.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Front-End Team Leader in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Redux, Context API, etc.).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).
• Strong experience in performance optimization, accessibility, and best front-end practices.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Solid understanding of build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, Prettier, GitHub Actions, etc.).
