Research And Development Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Scientist to support Eybna’s research and development initiatives, translating innovative technologies into actionable research and product development projects. This role will be instrumental in driving scientific excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and successful product implementation across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced computational methodologies for in-house molecular in-silico screening of natural compound bioactivity.
• Analyze large-scale chemical datasets to extract insights that inform product development and innovation strategies.
• Integrate and interpret Eybna’s proprietary scientific data to draw meaningful conclusions that support R&D and product initiatives.
• Establish and apply EEG methodologies in-house for the scientific validation of product efficacy.
• Provide scientific and technical expertise to support the development and integration of terpene-based products across global B2B partnerships.
• Identify and recommend new molecules for product development based on scientific research and screening outcomes.
• Act as a scientific resource by reviewing current literature, tracking industry trends, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in production, operations, marketing, and sales to facilitate the successful implementation of new products and processes.
• Foster external partnerships through academic collaborations, sensorial studies, and joint R&D ventures to drive innovation.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related Life Sciences discipline (M.Sc degrees preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a research laboratory setting/ computational studies.
• Proven experience in product development, preferably in the food, wellness, or medical cannabis industries.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to track multiple research initiatives concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety protocols (e.g., HACCP, EFSA, FEMA etc).
• Strong scientific writing and documentation skills
• Fluent in English.
