The Role

As a Manual QA Engineer at Ubeya, you'll be vital in ensuring the highest quality of our platform by rigorously testing features, uncovering defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You'll help deliver exceptional user experiences across web and mobile products.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and checklists based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and cross-platform testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects using Linear (or equivalent).
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements, testability, and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in feature review sessions and sprint planning to align QA efforts.
• Ensure consistent release readiness, including executing smoke and sanity tests on staging and production environments.
• Document test results and provide clear feedback reports.
• Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to QA process improvements
  
  

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA for web and/or mobile platforms.
• Proven track record of creating and executing comprehensive test documentation.
• Strong familiarity with QA tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured mindset.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience or exposure to API testing is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic, agile team
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline - Advantage
