Senior Legal Counsel – Crypto Trading & Structuring

As Senior Legal Counsel you will be a strategic advisor, leveraging your deep expertise in financial services and crypto law to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, structure sophisticated trading agreements, and mitigate risk across our operations. You will play a critical role in shaping legal strategy, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and enabling business growth through proactive legal guidance. Your ability to work cross-functionally and provide high-level counsel will make you an indispensable leader within the organization

What You’ll Do:

• Draft and negotiate trading agreements including margining, collateral, and credit arrangements.
• Collaborate with business teams on deal structuring, counterparty onboarding, and legal execution of high-value transactions.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice related to trading and stablecoin-related activities across global jurisdictions.
• Support and implement entity structuring.
• Advise on regulatory licensing and compliance requirements in major crypto hubs (e.g., U.S., EU, UK, Singapore, UAE).
• Assist in managing relationships with counterparties, exchanges, external counsel, and regulators.
• Contribute to internal governance, risk management, and documentation protocols in a fast-paced trading environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified lawyer with 6–10 years of experience, including at least 3+ years advising crypto-native, trading, or fintech businesses.

·        Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school and admission to the bar in New York or relevant jurisdiction.

• Significant experience drafting and negotiating OTC trading documentation, including ISDA-style agreements, custody terms, and prime broker arrangements.
• Demonstrated fluency in legal issues related to digital assets, stablecoins, and decentralized finance, especially in relation to trading, custody, and cross-border structuring.
• Strong understanding of the global regulatory frameworks impacting OTC crypto markets, including securities and commodities laws.
• Experience managing counterparty interactions and legal operations for transaction execution.
• Clear, confident communicator who can translate complex legal risk into practical business recommendations.
