Full Stack Developer - Data-Focused

We are a tech company building powerful data analytics solutions for public transportation and urban mobility. Our platform ingests and analyzes massive volumes of real-time and historical transit data to provide meaningful insights to cities, operators, and planners. 

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team- someone who thrives in building production-grade systems across the stack and is passionate about leveraging the cloud to solve real-world data problems. If you also have experience in data science or data analysis, even better! 

• What You'll Do:
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable full-stack applications using modern frameworks. 
• Build robust backend APIs and data processing services deployed on a cloud platform (AWS). 
• Collaborate closely with a product manager to integrate data pipelines and visualizations into the product. 
• Work with geospatial and temporal datasets, and help present complex data in intuitive ways. 
• Take ownership of features from design to deployment and monitoring. 

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. 
• Strong experience with AWS services. 
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React). 
• Familiarity with relational databases. 

Nice to Have:

• Background or strong interest in data science, analytics, or geospatial data. 
• Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Deck.gl). 
• Familiarity with time series or real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Flink, Spark). 
• Understanding of public transport, mobility, or smart city domains. 
• Passion for public transport.
