As Trullion continues to scale, we're looking for a Product Designer who can bring clarity, structure, and leadership to our design function. You’ll play a key role in unifying our design approach, improving collaboration across teams, and ensuring that every product experience is both intuitive and impactful. This role is about elevating what already exists, crafting a clear design strategy, setting new standards, and shaping a high-performing design culture. It’s not just about how things look, but how they work for the people who rely on Trullion every day.

You’ll lead the design of our AI-native product suite, already transforming the workflows of Controllers, CFOs, and Audit teams across six fast-growing products. From smart data capture to predictive insights, you’ll define how users interact with AI, turning complexity into clarity. This is a chance to help build a new category in accounting tech, where automation and intelligence meet human-centered design. You’ll join a passionate, fast-moving team where design is a core differentiator, not an afterthought.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the UX/UI function to bring clarity, speed, and quality to how we design and ship product. Your work will directly improve our team’s velocity and help turn great ideas into features that truly serve users.
• Define and communicate a clear UX/UI vision aligned with our broader product roadmap. Prioritize ruthlessly and ensure we’re solving the right problems at the right time - not just building fast, but building right.
• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing design team. Set clear standards and processes, support their growth, and act as a multipliers for their success.
• Translate user and business needs into actionable design workstreams. You’ll collaborate deeply with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to create cohesive, delightful experiences.
• Drive end-to-end user journey clarity across Trullion’s product suite, not just individual screens. Develop a unified design language that scales across workflows, products, and AI interactions.
• Help shape intuitive AI interfaces (e.g., smart matching, Trulli assistant, predictive workflows), ensuring they feel helpful and human, not overwhelming.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system that enables speed, reuse, and quality - tailored for a fast-moving engineering org that understands UI.
  
  

• A visionary designer and people-first leader who’s excited about the intersection of AI, product and user experience.
• 3+ years leading design teams, 5+ years designing complex web applications, ideally in SaaS or Fintech products.
• Experienced in translating technical concepts into clear, elegant interfaces and lead from ideation to production.
• Driven by research, systems thinking, and a passion for simplicity.
• Comfortable in the startup rhythm, fast, flexible and collaborative.
• Fluent in Figma and design operations, but just as fluent in storytelling and influence.
