Data Analyst

A successful Agrotech startup has developed Pollination Insight, a Big Data and AI-based platform for real-time monitoring of bee activity, environmental conditions, and pollination patterns.

The platform aims to improve crop yields and support sustainable agriculture by reducing operational costs, preserving bee populations, cutting carbon emissions, and enhancing global climate conditions.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, employs about 80 people globally (40 in Israel), and operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days.

Founded in 2017 by serial entrepreneurs with backing from leading global funds, the company is in a growth phase following $64M in funding rounds. They already have paying customers.

The Role Includes:

• Leading and managing a team of 3 data analysts
• Balancing management responsibilities (50%) with hands-on work, with a slight emphasis on hands-on
• Analyzing large datasets from IoT systems
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports
• Writing code for analytical pipelines in Python and SQL
• Implementing data quality control processes
• Collaborating cross-functionally within the organization
• Working in an AWS environment using Python and SQL

Requirements-

• 6+ years of hands-on data analysis experience with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven projects
• 3+ years of team leadership experience while maintaining significant technical contributions
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL that you actively apply in your daily work
• Strong data visualization skills with experience personally creating intuitive dashboards
• Ability to balance management responsibilities with continued technical excellence
• Exceptional communication skills for presenting your team's and your own technical findings
• Passion for continuous learning and implementing innovative data techniques
