We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager with proven experience in the local Israeli market.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for developing and implementing the company's sales strategy and leading the sales organization to achieve growth targets.
- Management, leadership, and motivation of sales teams, including area/product managers, technical sales engineers, and inside sales (back office).
- Responsibility for guiding, training, and providing professional/technical enrichment for the sales teams, including developing customized training programs and conducting on-site training at customer locations.
- Managing the strategic and professional relationship with represented companies, while maintaining long-term partnerships.
- Personal involvement with sales staff in major deals, providing support and assistance in closing large and complex transactions.
- Recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new sales team members, while fostering a positive, growth-oriented organizational culture.
- Responsibility for developing new incentive models.
- Building accurate sales forecasts and managing the sales budget.
- Proven managerial experience of at least 8 years in managing complex sales to the local Israeli market, including managing large and diverse teams.
- Experience in field sales at customer sites, or in managing field sales teams.
- Proven professional experience in the field of Automation Machinery Manufacturing. For example: pneumatics, vacuum systems, vision sensors, and motion control.
- Significant and comprehensive experience in selling technical products, with a deep understanding of long and complex sales cycles.
- Proven marketing skills and business experience, including market analysis and understanding, strategic customer management, and leading successful sales proposals - mandatory.
- In-depth budgetary knowledge and proven experience in managing resources and large projects, while meeting financial targets.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to represent the company to clients in Israel and abroad at the highest level.
- Extensive experience working with CRM and BI systems, including the ability to analyze data and derive business insights.
- Deep familiarity with the industrial sector, understanding customer needs and market competition.
- Full command of the English language, including conducting business negotiations and routine communication.
- Relevant academic degree in engineering/management - mandatory; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, high service orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a positive influence on the work environment.
- Ability to develop long-term partnerships.
