Dr. Gal Cafri’s lab of Immunotherapy and Genetic Engineering is part of Sheba’s Cancer Research center, and focuses on translational science aiming to develop novel T cell-based immunotherapies for cancer, as well as generating new mRNA-based tools to enhance immunotherapy efficacy. By collaborating closely with Sheba’s physicians, we have recently initiated two clinical trials and aim to tackle the most lethal diseases, while investigating the mechanisms of response in patients.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and dedicated MSc-level scientist to join our efforts to develop novel immunotherapies for pediatric glioma. We welcome applicants who are passionate about translational research and eager to contribute to a meaningful scientific endeavor. The ideal candidate would be a team player, driven by scientific curiosity, multitasker, independent, well organized, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

·      M.Sc degree in Biology – must

·      Background in immunology – advantage

·      At least 2 years of hands-on experience in tissue culture and flow cytometry – must

·      Ability to initiate and conduct experiments independently

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
