Since its establishment in 1921, the Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI) has been a key player in the Israeli economy and industry. MAI, an independent umbrella organization, represents private, public, government, and kibbutz-owned enterprises and plays a crucial role in advocacy both at the legislative and practical levels. Through lobbying and active participation in policy making, MAI supports free, fair, and reciprocal trade practices, facilitating international trade opportunities. The association’s membership of over 2,000 companies contributes to more than 90% of Israel's industrial output and positions MAI as a major influencer in the Israeli economy.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a מנהל/ת ענפי תעשייה; מנהל/ת לקוחות at the Manufacturers Association of Israel located in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing industry sectors and client relationships. Day-to-day tasks include serving as a liaison between the association and its members, advocating for industrial policies, coordinating sector-specific initiatives, providing support for international trade opportunities, and collaborating with other business organizations and government bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience in client relationship management and customer support
• Strong advocacy and lobbying skills, with the ability to influence policy
• Knowledge of industry-specific practices and international trade
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management and coordination skills
• Ability to work on-site in the Tel Aviv District, Israel
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Fluency in Hebrew and English, both written and spoken, is required
