What you’ll do:
As an SDR, you’ll be responsible for identifying and connecting with potential clients through outbound prospecting efforts. You’ll research target markets, qualify leads, and set up discovery meetings for the BD team, playing a key role in driving our revenue pipeline. You'll also work closely with the marketing team to align outreach strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through outbound, partner collaboration, marketing campaigns, industry events, and networking.
- Identify and engage senior-level executives at top sports organizations, leagues, clubs, and broadcasters.
- Research, develop, and execute a strategic outbound sales plan targeting key accounts and decision-makers.
- Map prospective accounts based on organizational structure, key stakeholders, and technology landscape.
- Research and identify ideal companies and contacts who will benefit from WSC Sports' solutions.
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls to assess the quality and fit of leads.
- Educate leads on the full suite of WSC Sports solutions, positioning the value proposition and addressing pain points.
- Schedule high-quality meetings and demos with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure seamless lead hand-off and maximize conversion rates.
- Accurately manage and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and interactions.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or prospecting role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or sports technology company.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence and connect with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for sales and business development.
- Ability to research and analyze markets, organizations, and individuals to drive effective prospecting.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft)
- Knowledge or passion for the sports industry is a big advantage.
- Native or near-native English; other languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Italian, German) are an advantage.
