Project Quality Manager

We are looking for a Project Quality Manager to join our Defense Plant in the Missile and Space Systems Division, IAI.

The position includes:

• Full responsibility for quality management across air defense projects
• Senior partnership in the project management team, overseeing all quality aspects throughout development, testing, production, delivery, and customer support phases
• Defining quality requirements across all project levels and ensuring compliance
• Leading quality aspects in design reviews
• Involvement in the processes of design and capability validation for systems within the project
• Leading quality assurance during production and integration, both in-house and with subcontractors
• Responding to customer RFQs from a quality perspective, including preparation of QAPs, qualification test specs, inspection plans, and environmental test specifications
• Managing FRACAS and quality notifications within the projects
• Leading failure investigations and corrective/preventive action processes
• Coordinating matrix disciplines related to quality, reliability, environmental compliance, and safety
• Driving continuous improvement across the project's activities
• Acting as the quality focal point towards customer representatives

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering – required
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Quality Manager / Quality or Reliability Engineer, with direct interaction with customers and subcontractors – required
• Strong command of English (spoken, reading, and writing) – required
• Proficiency in AS9100D implementation in military systems – advantage
• Master’s degree in quality and Reliability or relevant certifications (CRE, CQE, CMQ) – advantage
• In-depth knowledge of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) – advantage
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Strong interpersonal skills and representational capabilities
