We are looking for a Technical Support Expert to join our dynamic team and be part of making water leisure safer.
- Maintaining our client- interfacing and network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches and access point.
- Troubleshooting network connectivity issues, interfacing with customers networks.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
- Providing technical support to customers
- Implementing GDPR related safeguards and mitigations to keep compliance.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT system administration, with a strong focus on Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.).
- Proven experience working with server operating systems, particularly Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, or similar), including installation, configuration troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls).
- Proficient in English.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Strong problem – solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Customer/Client Technical Support:
- Respond promptly to support requests via email, chat or phone.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and system issues reported by users or customers.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and product onboarding.
- Document procedures and configurations.
2. Installation Support & Maintenance:
- Provide hands-on support for the setup and deployment of systems or applications.
- Perform remote or on-site installations and verify operational readiness.
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including file permissions, services, and package management (e.g. apt, yum).
- Maintain systems by applying updates, patches, and performing health checks.
- Monitor and verify correct operation of installed environments over time.
3. System Monitoring & Operational Support:
- Use tools like Datadog, Sentry, or Prometheus to detect and respond to system-level alerts.
- Perform basic diagnostics or restart services to resolve minor disruptions.
- Assist in investigating performance issues or server errors.
- Coordinate with DevOps for escalations on service availability or infrastructure issues.
