We are looking for a Technical Support Expert to join our dynamic team and be part of making water leisure safer. 

• Maintaining our client- interfacing and network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches and access point. 
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues, interfacing with customers networks.
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
• Providing technical support to customers 
• Implementing GDPR related safeguards and mitigations to keep compliance.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT system administration, with a strong focus on Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.).                                                                        
• Proven experience working with server operating systems, particularly Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, or similar), including installation, configuration troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Experience with network security technologies (firewalls).
• Proficient in English.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Strong problem – solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer/Client Technical Support:

• Respond promptly to support requests via email, chat or phone.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and system issues reported by users or customers.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and product onboarding.
• Document procedures and configurations.

2. Installation Support & Maintenance:

• Provide hands-on support for the setup and deployment of systems or applications.
• Perform remote or on-site installations and verify operational readiness.
• Configure and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including file permissions, services, and package management (e.g. apt, yum).
• Maintain systems by applying updates, patches, and performing health checks.
• Monitor and verify correct operation of installed environments over time.

3. System Monitoring & Operational Support:

• Use tools like Datadog, Sentry, or Prometheus to detect and respond to system-level alerts.
• Perform basic diagnostics or restart services to resolve minor disruptions.
• Assist in investigating performance issues or server errors.
• Coordinate with DevOps for escalations on service availability or infrastructure issues.
