QA Engineer (Student Position)

Upstream is looking for a QA Engineer, in a student position, to join our Engineering team and help build the company’s cloud cybersecurity platform for the automotive and smart mobility ecosystem.

This role is part-time and is Herzliya Israel based.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute manual tests
• Create and maintain automated tests using automation tools with scripts and recording tools
• Collaborate daily with our R&D teams to identify and resolve problems found during testing
• Work in close cooperation with product management and developers
• Deeply understand the business and technical requirements of existing and new products
• Work according to high execution standards, while adhering to project goals
  
  

• BSc.Student in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems Engineering - a must
• At least two years until graduation - a must
• Availability for at least two working days a week - from office.
• Basic knowledge in SQL - an advantage
• Ability to research and resolve technical issues
• Highly organized and able to consistently deliver excellent quality on a timely manner
• Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
• Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing)
• Experience working with automation tools such as Tesitm.io / Playwright / Cypress/ Python - an advantage
• Proven experience in functional, regression, and integration testing - an advantage
