tydal is a proprietary algorithmic trading startup that utilizes machine learning, risk analysis, and advanced statistical models to develop state-of-the-art, fully automated, and robust trading systems that outperform the digital asset market. Our team of industry experts analyzes massive datasets using AI, complex algorithms, and a deep understanding of the digital asset market to identify statistically significant behavior-based indicators that power our adaptive algorithm.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Quantitative Research team. You will work directly with quants, engineers, and traders to uncover predictive patterns in vast, complex datasets. Your insights will directly influence trading strategies.

Minimum qualifications:

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
4+ years of experience in a data science, machine learning, or quantitative research role, preferably within finance
Strong proficiency in Python (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) or similar
Solid understanding of statistical modeling, probability theory, and machine learning algorithms.
Experience working with time-series data.
