Information Security Consultant

About this role:

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and regulatory compliance? We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our Information Security team!

In this role, you will be a key player in shaping and maintaining our organization's cybersecurity governance framework. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, regulators, and auditors, and take part in writing and managing policies, procedures, and documentation that ensure regulatory compliance and security best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Drafting and maintaining cybersecurity and information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Managing and regularly updating the procedures repository in line with regulatory and organizational changes.
• Supporting internal and external audits related to cybersecurity and information security.
• Monitoring policy implementation and writing oversight reports.
• Collaborating with regulatory bodies such as the Israeli National Cyber Directorate and the Privacy Protection Authority.
• Supporting the implementation of standards like ISO 27001 and NIST and preparing for external assessments.
• Documenting processes and managing risk documentation systems.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution (preferred fields: Law, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, Management, or Political Science).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in policy writing, regulatory compliance, governance, or auditing in the field of information security or within a public/governmental body.
• Proven experience in information security implementation.
• Native-level Hebrew – strong written and verbal skills.
• Professional-level English – ability to understand and interpret professional documents and regulations.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a governmental or public organization.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and privacy regulations (e.g., Privacy Protection Law, National Cyber Directorate, GDPR).
• Relevant certifications such as:
• CISA
• CISM
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
