Data Engineer

We're Hiring Data Engineer- Digital, Data & Channels Division.

An exciting opportunity to join the world of Data Science and be part of a cutting-edge AI & Big Data team!

This team is responsible for developing advanced analytics and deriving insights from data, building Machine Learning and NLP models, extracting text from documents, and developing Big Data processes in a Hadoop-Spark-Kafka environment, working with data structures such as JSON, Parquet, and graph databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical leadership of the team, including code reviews
• Serving as Scrum Master – planning and managing team tasks
• Collaborating closely with Data Scientists to develop pipelines for medical ML models
• Data modeling and application design in Big Data environments
• Developing real-time data processes
• Performing basic data analysis

Requirements:

• Academic background in Software Engineering / Computer Science – must
• 4+ years of experience with Python and SQL – must
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka – must
• Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., ElasticSearch, Neo4J)
• Advantage: experience designing and developing ETL processes
