Cybersecurity Consultant

Cytactic is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Customer Success team. In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted advisor - driving customer satisfaction, adoption, retention, and growth by helping customers achieve their desired cyber resilience outcomes through the effective use of Cytactic’s platform. 

While you’ll be responsible for managing customer relationships, your focus will be on guiding customers through cyber crisis readiness planning, real-time incident response, and executive-level crisis management, ensuring they are fully prepared to face and effectively mitigate high-impact cyber threats. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Cyber Crisis Readiness Consulting: Lead advisory engagements on cyber crisis readiness using Cytactic’s platform, including planning and preparedness across domains such as IT, DFIR, legal, communications, executive leadership, and GRC.
• Crisis Management Support: Provide immediate, expert guidance during active cyber incidents, ensuring effective crisis management and recovery strategies using Cytactic’s platform. Help customers navigate uncertainty, pressure, and time-sensitive decisions.
• Cyber Crisis Simulation Design: Act as the lead consultant for tabletop exercises (TTXs). Oversee scenario development, integrating customers’ unique business processes, legal frameworks, and technical infrastructure into the simulation design for realistic and effective testing.
• Training Delivery: Deliver tailored training sessions to executive leadership, technical teams, legal counsel, and response teams to enhance organizational preparedness and platform adoption.
• Account Management: Build and nurture deep, strategic relationships with customers to understand their cybersecurity landscape. Advise on how Cytactic’s platform can support their cyber crisis readiness and management strategies. 
• Customer Lifecycle Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact, managing expectations and communication throughout the customer journey.
• Proactive Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with customers to anticipate needs, resolve challenges early, and identify opportunities to increase value.
• Product Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the customer internally - gathering insights to help shape product improvements and ensure the platform continues to meet evolving cybersecurity needs.

Requirements:

• Cybersecurity Expertise – MUST: Strong understanding of cyber crisis management, cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF 2.0), compliance (e.g., GDPR), and risk methodologies. Practical knowledge in incident response, business continuity, or cyber consulting is essential.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, business, law with speciality in cyber or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred but not a must): ECIH, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent certifications are highly advantageous.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English - both written and verbal. Ability to convey complex cyber topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cybersecurity Consulting or Customer Management/Success Experience: Demonstrated experience managing enterprise clients or advisory projects in a cybersecurity capacity. 
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment. Able to manage multiple customers and priorities efficiently.
