🧠 Qualifications

🔧 Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, preferably with robotics or embedded systems.

• Proficiency in Python and C++, with experience working on real-time systems.

• Strong understanding of Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) or equivalent frameworks.

• Experience developing in Unity or Unreal Engine with VR SDKs (e.g., Oculus, HTC Vive).

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX) for behavior recognition or emotion detection.

• Competence in computer vision using OpenCV, Azure Kinect SDK, or similar.

• Strong understanding of embedded platforms (e.g., Jetson Xavier NX, Raspberry Pi).

• Experience integrating sensors like LiDAR, depth cameras, UWB, or mic arrays.

• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices.

• Knowledge of cloud-connected devices (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, MQTT, etc.) is a plus.

• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.

• Strong system design and architecture experience, ideally in robotics or IoT.

• Comfortable collaborating with hardware engineers, CTO, and founders.

• Capable of balancing technical debt vs. product deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills – can explain complex tech in plain English.

• High level of autonomy, initiative, and ownership over features and systems.
