Artificial Intelligence Engineer

A startup company in the Digital Health sector, acquired by a major global eyewear corporation. The company is located in Tel Aviv, operating on a hybrid model with four days in-office and one day remote, and employs 35 people.

The company develops innovative prescription glasses integrated with discreet hearing aids, targeting approximately 75% of the U.S. population that wears glasses and experiences mild to moderate hearing loss.

Acquired in 2023 it serves as their technological division with solid financial support.

Collaborations with clinical researchers and scientists worldwide support its product development, currently in a critical growth phase.

About the role

• Joining a recently formed team focused on developing deep learning algorithms for signal processing tasks.
• Developing algorithms for speech enhancement, noise suppression, and echo cancellation.
• Requires expertise in combining AI with hardware solutions, including edge deployment, quantization, pruning, and GPU optimization.
• Utilizing a technology stack that includes Python and PyTorch.
• Responsible for the full product lifecycle: data collection, model architecture design, signal processing, training infrastructure, evaluation, and embedded system integration.
• Conducting ongoing research and implementation of advanced AI tools and modern MLOps techniques to optimize experimentation, configuration management, and model development.

Requirements-

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science – required.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing AI algorithms – required.
• Practical experience in Signal Processing and Deep Learning – required.
• Proficiency in Python and GPU computing environments – required.
