The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Ad Operations to lead our technical advertising strategy and infrastructure. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our monetization engine, ensuring seamless integration with SSPs, DSPs, ad exchanges, and ad servers. You'll work cross-functionally to drive operational excellence and maximize revenue across the programmatic ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Integrations: Own and manage the technical integration of SSPs, DSPs, and ad servers (e.g., Publica, SpringServe), ensuring efficient data flow and campaign execution.

• Operational Excellence: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain high performance.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, sales, and external vendors to align monetization strategies and implementation timelines and achieve seamless execution.

• Performance Analysis: Track and analyze ad performance data using BI tools like Looker. Implement enhancements to optimize yield and efficiency.

• Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain clear documentation of integration processes, configurations, and issue logs.

• Market Awareness: Stay on top of evolving AdTech trends, especially in the CTV/OTT space, and evaluate new technologies to keep us ahead of the curve.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in AdTech, with hands-on direct experience managing integrations with SSPs/DSPs in RTB environments.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of OpenRTB, VAST, Prebid, and server-to-server ad delivery.

• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data and solving complex technical challenges.

• Strong Communicator: Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

• Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple ad tech projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in AdTech are a plus.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with major SSPs/DSPs like Magnite, Equativ, Verve.

• Hands-on experience with ad servers like Publica, SpringServe, or Google Ad Manager.

• Experience using Looker, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
