What You’ll DoData Analysis & Insight Generation
- Deep Dive into Performance Data: Systematically analyze vast datasets encompassing user engagement, ad performance metrics (e.g., eCPM, fill rate, CTR, conversion rates), and the complete monetization funnel. This involves identifying trends, anomalies, and key performance indicators to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and areas requiring attention. The goal is to
- uncover actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Model Development
- Strategic Collaboration: Work in close partnership with Product, Business Development, and R&D teams to leverage their expertise and align on shared objectives.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and refine predictive models that forecast user behavior, ad revenue, and other critical metrics. These models will inform proactive strategies and resource allocation.
- A/B Testing Frameworks: Design, implement, and analyze robust A/B testing frameworks to validate hypotheses, optimize monetization strategies, and drive incremental growth. This includes defining test parameters, monitoring results, and drawing statistically significant conclusions.
Automation, Optimization & Strategic Implementation
- Automation and Optimization: Lead initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and optimize various aspects of ad operations. This includes improving campaign delivery mechanisms, refining targeting parameters to reach the most valuable user segments, and optimizing bidding strategies across diverse advertising platforms to maximize return on ad spend.
- Translating Analytics into Strategy: Distill complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations. These recommendations will directly influence AppStock’s overarching strategic direction, product roadmap development, and the implementation of new product features.
Demand-Side Performance & Revenue Maximization
- Ownership of Demand-Side Performance: Take full ownership of the performance of demand-side advertising campaigns. This entails continuous monitoring, analysis, and proactive management to ensure optimal delivery and revenue generation.
- Revenue Maximization Strategies: Develop and implement innovative strategies to maximize revenue from demand-side partnerships. This includes identifying new opportunities, negotiating favorable terms, and continuously optimizing existing partnerships to achieve the highest possible monetization yields.
- Possesses 2–5 years of hands-on experience in AdTech, ideally in operational or monetization-centric positions.
- Demonstrates a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in data storytelling.
- Exhibits a solid understanding of SSP platforms (e.g., Xandr, Magnite, Equativ) and programmatic advertising environments.
- Experienced in conducting A/B tests, constructing attribution models, and working with performance-based KPIs.
- Highly proficient in Excel and adept at managing large datasets.
- A self-starter who excels in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- B.A. in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a scaling AdTech startup.
- Team leadership or mentoring experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a "can-do" approach and strong ownership.
- Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable solutions.
