Senior Hardware Engineer – Robotics & Embedded Systems

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Electronics team and take a key role in the design and development of the electrical systems powering and controlling our humanoid robot. This is a hands-on position suited for someone passionate about board design, system integration, and working across hardware, software, and mechanical domains.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop custom PCBs for complex robotic systems – including motor drivers, power management units, sensors, and digital communication interfaces.
• Work closely with mechanical, embedded, and algorithm teams to ensure seamless integration and high system performance.
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation processes.
• Develop and execute digital boards included Ethernet, EtherCAT, CANBus interface for motor controllers and other hardware components.
• Define test plans and procedures for both prototypes and production systems.
• Handle component selection, schematic design, layout review, and BOM management.
• Interface with PCB manufacturers and assembly vendors, supporting DFM/DFT and production readiness.
• Drive continuous improvements in reliability, scalability, and performance of hardware designs.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent proven experience.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded or robotic systems.
• Strong background in analog and digital circuit design, including mixed-signal systems.
• Experience with CAN bus, UART and other industrial communication protocols – required.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
• Experience with hardware validation and lab bring-up work using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test tools.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing systems, especially for motor control applications.

Advantages

• Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and safety/regulatory compliance.
