Automation Engineer

Backed from day one by top-tier VCs, including Google Ventures and Kleiner Perkins, the company raised a $50M Series A round in December 2023, and is well-funded for the long term. With a team of around 100 employees, they are in rapid growth mode.

The company was founded by three well-known entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits and high-profile track records.

The company operates onsite only from Ramat Gan (Bursa area), next to a train station.

Role Overview:

• Be the first Automation Engineer in the company, with a clear path to a leadership role.
• Take full ownership of the automation domain designing and building infrastructure from scratch, developing both frameworks and tests in Python.
• Work on a complex, data- and algorithm-heavy product with a strong technical foundation.
• Collaborate with an existing QA engineer and help build and lead a growing QA Automation team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation
• Experience in leading teams
• Expertise in leading QA methodologies, automation tools, and frameworks
• Proficiency in scripting languages suitable for automation such as Python or JavaScript
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Deep knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
• Familiarity with hardware integration and debugging - huge advantage
• Experience with ARM and x86 Linux environments - advantage
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
