React Developer

A startup in the medical field is building the first-of-its-kind medical operating system for doctors and their patients. Designed by a team of physicians and technology experts, the platform is an integrated cloud-based software that adapts project management tools and practices to fit existing clinical workflows. It enables care teams to efficiently plan, execute, and track patient care.

The system translates the physician’s multi-step, forward-thinking approach into structured patient pathways and generates personalized care maps based on the doctor’s instructions. The goal is to relieve the burden on both doctors and patients, allowing them to focus on what truly matters being a doctor.

The company is based in Tel Aviv near a light rail line (parking available), employs 20 people, including 8 in development, and offers a hybrid work model with three days a week from home.

The role involves joining the development team and working on the client side using React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities-

• Develop and maintain rich UI components and web pages using the latest JS features, React +Hooks, and TypeScript.
• Efficiently translate Figma mock-ups into pixel-perfect UI screens.
• Work with advanced state management and data-fetching techniques.
• Utilize modern styling approaches for responsive and maintainable designs.
• Develop UI interactions, handle complex event flows, and optimize rendering performance.
• Write unit tests and automation tests to ensure code reliability.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end engineers, and product teams to enhance user experience.
• Follow best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code.

Requirements-

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with strong proficiency in React 19, TypeScript 5, and React Hooks.
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES2020+), including:
• Async operations (Promises, async/await, handling race conditions).
• Modules and tree shaking for optimized bundling, code splitting.
• Functional programming concepts (pure functions, higher-order functions, closures).
• Performance optimizations (e.g., event delegation, debouncing, throttling).
• Proficiency in React Query, Zustand, React Router, and other advanced front-end tools.
• Excellent knowledge of CSS, Tailwind, Styled Components, and MUI.
• Understanding of best practices for writing modular, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Vite, and build systems.
• Knowledge of real-time web technologies (WebSocket) and other advanced browser APIs.
• Experience with unit testing and automation testing.
• Understanding of SQL for basic queries and debugging purposes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, creative mindset.
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
