Network and Information Security Specialist

Job Description:

• Implementation and maintenance of cross-organizational projects in the fields of networking and information security.
• Responsibility for systems operation, monitoring and control, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network and security products.
• Upgrading and ongoing operation of all existing security and communication systems.
• Enforcing information security policies, granting access permissions and approvals for employees as part of daily operations.
• Work division: 70% networking, 30% information security.
• Support in project-related and defense systems (classified equipment) environments.
• Office-based work including occasional field work and the possibility of international travel.

Requirements:

• Certifications in information security (CISSP, CISM, CISO) and networking (CCNA, CCNP) – significant advantage.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in information security and networking within enterprise or mid-sized organizations – required.
• At least 2 years of experience in setup and ongoing maintenance of security products such as Checkpoint and Fortinet – required.
• Solid knowledge and experience in areas such as IPS, SSL, NAC, NMS, and VPN setup – required.
• Experience in planning and implementing L2 & L3 network infrastructures – required.
• Strong familiarity with Cisco equipment, with an advantage for knowledge of Juniper switches.
• High level of responsibility, motivation, team player, and strong interpersonal skills.
