Grant Research Analyst & Writer

Location: Remote / On-site in Israel

Contract: Temporary until October 2025 (with potential for a long-term role)

Maagal Giborim (Kids Kicking Cancer Israel) is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Grant Research Analyst & Writer to lead the identification, analysis, and development of grant opportunities. This position is essential to securing funding for programs that empower children, youth, and young adults facing adversity. The role combines research and writing skills with strategic thinking and a strong commitment to social impact.

• Research and identify local and international funding opportunities
• Analyze funders’ priorities and evaluate alignment with the organization’s mission
• Write clear, compelling proposals, LOIs, and supporting materials
• Maintain a detailed grants calendar and submission tracking system
• Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and success stories
• Monitor funding trends in health, education, and resilience
• Conduct fact-based research and analysis to support funding strategy
• Evaluate new and existing research sources
• Assist with the publication of research commentaries and grant-related materials
• Prepare materials that summarize data and support key strategic discussions

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, public policy, research, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in grant research or writing
• Strong written communication and analytical skills in both English and Hebrew
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Proficiency with SPSS, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with Israeli and international philanthropic ecosystems is an advantage
