Varonis is entering the Database Security market with two new products: a combination of Database Activity Monitoring and a Data Classification Engine under one platform.

We are looking for an Engineering Group Leader that will manage multiple engineering teams located in Israel and Off-shore on an interesting, fast growing group that works in the most advanced technologies available today.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of software development - from technology, security, scalability, and reliability, to processes, planning and people development
• Push for technical excellence, innovation, high product quality, and timely delivery in an agile, production aware environment
• Hire and attract top talent and build a fast-growing team
  
  

• Proven experience in leading diversified engineering groups (25: engineers)
• Proven experience in developing managers and engineers
• Experience working with large-scale, multi-tenant, native SaaS products
• In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture and its security features
• Experience with building large-scale Python-based backend microservices
• Strong object-oriented based programming, debugging/troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
