We’re seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Director to drive the adoption of our next-generation railway perception systems. In this position, you will be responsible for new customer acquisition, owning and growing the sales pipeline, and securing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a driven sales leader with a proven record of opening new markets and securing multi-million-dollar product deals, skilled at turning advanced tech into clear C-suite value while smoothly guiding enterprise-sized stakeholders sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for our advanced radar and AI-based railway perception systems.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation through demos and contract revisions to closed deals, utilizing CRM tools for tracking and forecasting
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with railway technology integrators, train manufacturers, and additional stakeholders within the railroad industry
- Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations showcasing of our advanced solution
- Build and leverage a strong network within the railway safety, smart mobility, and autonomous transport ecosystem
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance analyses to senior management, with a specific focus on adoption rates of next-generation perception technologies
Qualifications:
- +5 Years of proven experience in direct sales of advanced technology solutions within the railway technology sector or adjacent industries, such as defense, smart mobility, and/or industrial automation sectors (non-SaaS)
- Proven new-market opener – you have taken a product into at least one new territory or vertical and closed headline deals on a large scale (+5M$)
- Proficient in managing Tender processes, including leading RFI/RFP responses, coordinating technical and commercial inputs, and keeping multi-stakeholder deals moving
- Track record of building relationships with C-level stakeholders involved in railway innovation and autonomous transport initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong ability to communicate technical value propositions to both technical and business decision-makers
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
