Our portfolio includes leading services companies in Israel, and we are now seeking a high-caliber individual to join our team as an Operator-in-Residence — a structured track designed to develop a future CEO who will lead an acquired platform company.
This is a rare opportunity to step into an entrepreneurial leadership role, and to build a business with the support of experienced investors and a clear, well-tested playbook.
The Role
As an Operator-in-Residence (OIR), you will be embedded in one of our current portfolio companies and work alongside senior leadership to understand operations, implement improvements, and support growth initiatives. At the same time, you will play a key role in evaluating and leading the acquisition of a new portfolio company. Once a suitable acquisition is made, you will transition into the full-time CEO/operator of that company.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Operator-in-Residence
· Work closely with portfolio companies’ management to absorb best practices
· Support operational projects including digital transformation, systems implementation, and strategic partnerships
· Lead commercial and operational due diligence for potential acquisitions
· Participate in board meetings and strategy sessions with our investment team
· Serve as a "Chief of Staff"-style support to leadership, managing cross-functional initiatives
Phase 2: CEO of Acquired Company
· Lead post-merger integration (PMI), team building, and go-to-market strategy
· Take full P&L ownership and drive operational performance
· Implement scalable processes to support expansion strategy
· Build and lead a resilient, execution-focused leadership team
· Report to the board and work with the PE team to execute long-term value creation plans
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone exceptional. This is not a traditional corporate role — it's a launchpad for an operator hungry to build a company from the ground up. Competitive base compensation and equity stake in the acquired company upon CEO transition
Attributes:
· At least 4-5 years track record of leadership experience, resilience, and accountability in fast-moving environments
· Experience supporting or owning a P&L, exposure to senior-level financial decision-making
· 3-4 years of experience in finance, consulting, or operations (IB / CPA a plus)
· Low-ego, high-ownership mindset. You will lead by doing, and thrive in collaborative, humble environments
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Willingness to “get your hands dirty” and personally drive execution
· Passion for building businesses and leading teams
