Position Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Cloud/Digital Native Technology Sales Organization at Oracle is dedicated to partnering with high-growth B2C and B2B digital-native companies in Israel, across various sectors including FinTech, EduTech, E-Commerce, Gaming, and Media. To address the evolving demands of this fast-paced segment, the Digital Native Sales teams focused on enabling digital transformation through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including advanced AI/ML capabilities.
As the Cloud Native Leader, Senior Sales Director for Israel, you will be responsible for building, managing, and leading a high-performing team of FLMs, sales professionals, and SDRs. Your goal: to grow Oracle’s footprint in the Digital Native space by driving strategic engagement with Founders, CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, and other key executives across scaleups and born-in-the-cloud enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Execution
- Meet and exceed OCI cloud revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage high-performing sales teams and first-line managers (FLMs).
- Apply advanced sales methodologies to generate a pipeline consistently, achieve high conversion rates, and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Foster a culture of execution excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Establish strong, consultative relationships with C-level executives at digital-native organizations.
- Understand customer business goals and align OCI solutions to their technology and growth strategies.
- Lead high-impact executive engagements and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Strategic Pipeline Development
- Drive consistent pipeline creation and pipeline maturity in collaboration with marketing, sales development, and ecosystem partners.
- Track key metrics and performance indicators to manage sales velocity and ensure effective coverage.
- Market Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Israeli startup and scaleup ecosystem, including industry trends, investment patterns, and emerging business models.
- Articulate Oracle’s competitive advantage clearly in the context of market needs and customer challenges.
- Team Enablement & Growth
- Provide hands-on coaching and development for team members to build future leaders.
- Set clear objectives and regularly review team and individual performance to ensure achievement of goals.
- Promote a team-first culture grounded in innovation, customer-centricity, and growth mindset.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technical resources, marketing, legal, and operations, to advance sales opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales Programs teams to craft targeted campaigns and Go-To-Market strategies for the Digital Native sector.
- Drive Oracle’s brand positioning within the Digital Native community through ecosystem engagement and thought leadership.
- Experience & Background
- Minimum 5 years of Senior sales leadership in the Digital Native segment OR 7+ years in senior leadership roles within B2C digital-native companies.
- At least 15 years of experience in sales, including leading and scaling high-performing enterprise or cloud sales teams.
- Strong background in selling cloud infrastructure solutions (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding cloud-native customer demands.
- Proven Track Record
- Demonstrated success in engaging and selling to CEO/CXO-level stakeholders.
- Track record of consistently surpassing revenue goals and expanding strategic accounts.
- Deep understanding of the cloud competitive landscape and the ability to effectively position Oracle.
- Leadership & Influence
- Inspirational leader with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop talent.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; capable of driving alignment across functions.
- Operates with agility, urgency, and a bias for action in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Business & Technical Acumen
- Strong consultative selling approach and understanding of enterprise IT and cloud architecture.
- Excellent forecasting, reporting, and operational discipline.
- Extensive network in Israel’s tech/startup ecosystem is a strong advantage.
