Quality Assurance Engineer

A startup company that has developed a mobile gaming platform with tens of thousands of downloads and hundreds of thousands of daily active users, experiencing rapid growth of dozens of percent annually.

The company specializes in immersive gaming — creating a sense that the player is truly "present" in the game. Ranked third in the U.S. in number of downloads and daily active users, the company is doubling its growth every few months.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (near a train line), the company mainly works from the office (one day a week from home) and currently has 80 employees, half of whom are in R&D.

Role QA Tester-

• Work as part of a software testing team in a fast-growing gaming startup
• Perform manual testing on both Frontend and Backend components
• Test Web-based and Mobile-based immersive games
• Work extensively with large volumes of data and databases
• Conduct regression testing, sanity testing, and API testing
• Execute tests in a cloud-based environment
• Write and maintain test documentation
• Report directly to the QA Team Lead

Requirements-

• 3+ years of experience in Mobile Manual QA
• Completed a recognized QA course or certification program - a must ( Or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field of study).
• Previous experience testing mobile games - an advantage.
• Understanding of testing workflows, including test case creation, execution, and reporting, tailored to mobile gaming platforms.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and a relentless drive to find and document critical bugs that could affect the user experience.
• A natural enthusiasm for gaming to understand the player’s perspective and contribute to improving the overall experience.
