R&D Data Scientist Team Lead

A stable and established company in the Ad-Tech field digital marketing offering clients smart media buying solutions.

The company has about 120 employees, is located in Tel Aviv, and offers two remote workdays per week.

About the role-

• Deliver end-to-end projects from concept to deployment, leading a mixed team of both data scientists and Software\ML engineers.
• Own the research, design, and deployment of ML models in a real-time, high-scale RTB environment.
• Impact business performance by leading experiments and product-facing innovation in ad targeting, bidding, and optimization.
• Build production-grade ML and data systems that operate at low latency and high throughput
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business to shape and scale our ML-powered solutions.

Requirements-

• 5 years in software development and applied data science roles, including 2+ years in a team lead capacity.
• Strong programming skills in Python and production-grade software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning techniques and deployment in real-time systems.
• Proven experience with Real-Time Bidding, auction dynamics, and programmatic ad tech ecosystems.
• Expertise in data processing at scale – SQL, Spark, Airflow, streaming (Kafka/Flink).
• It can be a great plus if you have:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and ML tools (MLFlow, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in Presto and Hive
