Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
• Experience with Python.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience in developing a data-based product and a user-facing product.
• Experience with ML/NLP.
• Ability to propose, initiate and lead new concrete multi-month projects.

We are a research team of engineers and research scientists who work together toward the development of exciting and society-benefiting conversational education experiences. In this role, you will work on developing core educational abilities (e.g., question generation) that build toward entire educational experiences. Team members work on all stages of the technology development, from data collection and modeling to the necessary infrastructure to support the development and integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house Natural Language Processing/Machine Learning technologies.
• Work closely with other research groups on collaborative research efforts.
• Work closely with product groups to deliver ML solutions to products.
• Develop infrastructure needed to support model development and serving.
