Junior Data Analyst – Duty Drawback Team

We’re looking for a Junior Data Analyst who’s passionate about turning data into actionable business insights. This role is a unique opportunity to join our Duty Drawback team, where you’ll play a key part in optimizing one of our most impactful operational programs.

You’ll work alongside experienced analysts and cross-functional stakeholders, using data to drive decisions, support strategic initiatives, and ensure smooth and accurate claim operations. Your Responsibilities

• Analyse operational data to support duty drawback claim generation and compliance with customs regulations.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards that track key program KPIs and performance metrics.
• Support ongoing analysis of merchant participation to uncover untapped revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with BI and data teams to validate SQL queries and improve data accuracy.
• Prepare data extracts for audits, compliance checks, and cross-functional reporting.
• Support improvements in process automation and reporting workflows.
  
  

• Data Collection & Insight Generation – Creating visibility into operational performance and identifying improvement areas.
• Technical Execution – Assisting with claim preparation, query validation, and audit readiness.
• Program Support – Support the team to lead strategic work by managing the analytical backbone.
  
  

• BA/BS degree in a related field (e.g., Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar - Mandatory.
• Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of SQL - Mandatory.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and working with large datasets - Mandatory.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.

• Experience in data analysis, financial operations, or a technical operations role.
• Experience with customs, international trade, or duty drawback programs.
• Familiarity with merchant operations, VAT/duty rules, or government portals.
• Background in operational KPI reporting or program performance monitoring.
