We’re looking for a VP of Engineering to join our executive team and lead the engineering vision, scale our systems, and build world-class AI-driven products that solve real-world logistics challenges.

What will you do

• Lead Engineering Strategy: Own the technical roadmap, aligning engineering efforts with business goals. Translate product vision into scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing engineering organization — including backend, full-stack, web, infrastructure, and computer vision teams.
• Scale Systems: Oversee the architecture and delivery of our computer vision pipelines, real-time video processing, AI infrastructure, and customer-facing APIs.
• Execution Ownership: Ensure rapid, high-quality, and secure development cycles. Drive CI/CD excellence, testing culture, and infrastructure observability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, AI, and Operations to ensure Flymingo’s platform continuously meets customer needs and evolves with market demands.
• Hiring & Culture: Shape the engineering culture. Lead recruitment of top-tier engineers and promote a sense of purpose, ownership, and innovation.

What you bring

• Proven experience leading engineering teams at a growth-stage startup or tech company, ideally in AI, computer vision, or logistics.
• Deep understanding of scalable backend architectures (microservices, data pipelines, distributed systems).
• Experience with real-time systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/AZURE), and infrastructure automation (Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.).
• Familiarity with computer vision workflows, AI/ML deployment, or edge processing is a strong plus.
• Very nice to have: experience building large-scale video platforms or real-time video processing systems.
• Passion for execution, velocity, and building things that matter — especially in operational, high-impact domains like logistics.
• Strong people leader with the ability to grow and inspire technical teams.
