Global Regional Manager – Sales & Business Development – Fire Protection Systems
Job Description:
Responsible for managing sales strategy and business development in the global market, expanding existing customer activities, and acquiring new customers and territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support existing distributors and customers while maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Identify and develop new markets and potential distributors in the fire protection sector.
- Identify opportunities for developing OEM agreements with potential partners.
- Develop in-depth technical understanding of the company's products and provide marketing and technical support.
- Analyze market trends and customer demands to develop sales and marketing strategies.
- Initiate and lead campaigns, activities, and marketing tools to promote global sales.
- Manage pricing, quotations, and participation in global tenders within the fire protection sector.
- Expand and develop existing markets and introduce new products.
- Organize and participate in professional exhibitions worldwide.
- Conduct training sessions and seminars for international clients and distributors.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in international sales.
- Educational background in Business Administration or a commercial field combined with strong technical understanding, or a technical education with a solid commercial background.
- Full proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Spanish – a significant advantage.
- Experience in establishing sales infrastructure from scratch.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to work patiently and systematically within long sales and marketing cycles.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to engage in professional discussions with customers.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
- Market analysis capabilities to identify potential customers, projects, and business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel frequently abroad.
- Regular reporting to the VP of Fire Protection Division regarding business development and sales activities in targeted regions.
