Software Engineer II, Mainframe Modernization

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Work on products used by Google Cloud biggest and most important customers for modernization of their business critical applications.
• Work within a team located in Tel Aviv as well as multiple other countries and with customers/partners all around the world.
• Understand the needs/requirements of those customers from product management, translating them to architecture/design, implementing them and following up to production and adoption.
