About the role:

A young and dynamic hi-tech company is seeking a QA Team Lead to join our growing Tech-Ops team. In this role, you will take ownership of the QA process, lead testing activities across multiple projects, and guide a team of QA professionals to ensure high-quality product releases. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about improving quality processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, plans, and scenarios based on product requirements.
Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple environments.
Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems.
Collaborate closely with developers, customer service managers, and solution architects during sprint planning and reviews.
Write and maintain QA documentation, including:
Test case repositories
Test run logs
Release validation checklists
Use Python scripts for basic tasks such as:
Data validation
Log analysis
Test data generation
Participate in design reviews to provide a QA perspective and ensure testability.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing for web applications.
At least 1 year of experience as a QA team lead.
Strong ability to analyze product requirements and convert them into clear, comprehensive test cases.
Working knowledge of Python for simple scripting or support tasks.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
High attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to testing.
