Security Researcher

A defensive cybersecurity startup specializing in vulnerability research for a variety of clients, primarily in the low-level domain, and recently expanding into high-level and cloud environments.

The company operates with a strong ethical foundation, working defensively with private companies and offensively only on behalf of the State of Israel (never for foreign governments).

This is a newly created position, leading the company's growing High-Level and Cloud research domain.

The role involves vulnerability research, development of specialized cyber tools for the security sector, and working closely with clients to define and tailor solutions. It offers significant room for impact and leadership.

The position reports directly to the CTO, involves hands-on coding in Python, and includes dynamic and diverse responsibilities.

The company has been profitable from day one, is based in Tel Aviv near a train station, works fully on-site, and currently has 20 employees.

Requirements-

• 4 years performing cybersecurity research and/or red teaming in cloud environments.
• Experience developing in Python. Bonus: experience with AI.
• Experience in 0-day research of large systems (with or without sources).
• Solid understanding of cloud defense methodology and techniques.
• A quick learner, ready to work in an agile, fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• A team player with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with cryptography and cryptographic algorithms will be a major plus.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Advantage: experience leading or managing technical R&D teams.
