Data Engineer

A startup company in the FinOps domain is developing a technology that analyzes the complexity and cost of cloud infrastructure, identifies budget inefficiencies, and provides fast, high-quality solutions to reduce expenses. As cloud costs have become the second-largest expenditure for companies after employee salaries, the platform enables large enterprises to achieve savings of millions of dollars.

Founded two years ago, the company has raised $36M in Seed funding and recently completed a Series A round from some of the world’s leading venture capital firms. It already has paying customers and strategic partnerships with top global companies.

The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv, conveniently located near both the train and light rail, and operates in a hybrid model with two days of remote work per week. It currently employs 65 people.

The position is part of the R&D team and focuses on the development of large-scale, distributed, and robust data pipelines. Responsibilities include data modeling and optimization, designing data warehouse architecture, and building ETL/ELT processes. The tech stack includes AWS, SQL, and Go.

Requirements-

• 5 years of hands-on development experience – mandatory
• 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer – mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Go or Python – mandatory
• Experience working in cloud environments – mandatory (preference for AWS)
• Strong knowledge and experience with SQL – mandatory
• Experience with Big Data tools – mandatory
• Experience with ETL / ELT – advantage
