What You’ll Do

• Process Development & Optimization: Work on the design, optimization, and scale-up of industrial Thermodynamic processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability, and safety of our patented VOC capture technology.
• Experimental Design & Execution: Plan and execute laboratory- and pilot-scale experiments, including heat and mass balance studies, dynamic system testing, and data acquisition under a range of operating conditions.
• Theoretical & Analysis: Analyze performance metrics, and guide experimental iterations.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Apply statistical and analytical techniques to interpret experimental results, identify trends, and propose technical improvements. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical, process, and electrical engineers to integrate research findings into pilot and commercial systems.
• Innovation & Problem Solving: Overcome technical challenges, drive continuous improvement, and contribute intellectual property ideas to promote and highlight CoolVOC’s competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Thermodynamics, or a closely related discipline.
• Deep theoretical understanding of thermodynamic processes, heat transfer, and phase changes.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in process R&D, including gas-phase analysis, calorimetry, and pressure/temperature control systems.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical data analysis (e.g., Design of Experiments, regression analysis).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Hebrew proficiency is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in VOC capture, adsorption technologies, or industrial emission control.
• Familiarity with scaling lab processes from prototype to pilot and commercial scale.
• Track record of patent filings, technical publications, or conference presentations in thermodynamics or process engineering.
