Job description:

• Conducting quality audits of the management, design and site teams.
• Coordinating with the following stakeholders and project teams:
• Employer, Project Director/Managers, Construction Director and Managers, Independent Safety Assessor (ISA), Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Managers, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers, Design, Commercial, Construction, Commissioning and Handover
• Assisting with the development/improvement of the project QMS and ensuring site implementation of the system
• Reviewing of Consultant and Contractor quality documentation
• Visiting various sites to inspect processes, procedures and works to ensure good quality practice and confirm compliance with requirements, standards and specifications
• Monitoring and reporting on compliance to project quality standards
• Ensure necessary documentation, including permits and clearances, is in place before commencement of Works
• Provide practice review of Method Statements to ensure they provide the step by step work details to be carried out to meet Right First Time and the highest quality standard.
• Ensure that tests are conducted in accordance with approved procedures
• Flag any quality and safety non-conformances
• Conduct quality audits in alignment with ISO 9001, as necessary
• Documenting results of inspections and actions, assist with root cause and corrective/preventive actions when necessary, as well as complete detailed paperwork, where applicable
• Ensure Contractor Control of Nonconforming Items (NCRs)
• Monitor, analyze and report on Quality performance trends including major issues which could affect project performance
• Promoting awareness of quality as an integral part of effective management, promoting and developing Continuous Improvement techniques and practice
• Ensuring all specified project Quality standards are achieved throughout the project organization
• Understanding the Dan-Rail Quality Policy, ensure quality implementation, as it relates to the project
• Being familiar with the quality requirements of local legislation, international best practice and standards, and ensure that they are complied with
• Always observing QHSE policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Degree or Post Graduate Diploma
• 5 years’ experience as an Quality Management
• Auditor training course
• Demonstrated understanding of and previous experience with ISO 9001
• Bilingual in Hebrew and English (both written and spoken)
• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft software
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities

Preferred:

• Civil Engineer
• Rail and tunneling experience
• Performance of quality audits
• Effective training and presentation skills
• Membership of professional institution
