We're Hiring: Director of R&D for our Sensors Division

We are looking for a Director of R&D to join our Sensors Division at VPG Modi'in, Israel.

In This Role, You Will

Lead, initiate, and manage the development of new products for existing and new markets at the component and module level.

Introduce and experiment with new technologies to drive innovation.

Define product specifications, compile technical documents, and oversee lab testing and validation activities.

Manage and lead a talented R&D team towards achieving strategic goals.

Provide technical support to customers and external partners.

What We're Looking For

✅ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (advanced degree – an advantage).

✅ Extensive experience in R&D of electronic components / sensors.

✅ Strong background in semiconductor processes, NPI (New Product Introduction), and DFX (Design for Excellence).

✅ Proven experience in leading and developing R&D and engineering teams.

✅ Hands-on, innovative, and business-oriented mindset.

✅ Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
