Security Researcher

A leading Cybersecurity company developing cloud-based systems for secure and fast organizational communication. The company’s goal is to reduce IT complexities by consolidating organizational communication and security capabilities into one cloud platform, increasing efficiency and speed in security processes while maintaining low operational costs.

Their solution offers comprehensive organizational communication, bridging the gap between the needs of digital businesses and the slow, inflexible, and expensive networks of traditional telecom providers, all through a Cloud-Native Carrier architecture.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, within walking distance of the train station, and offers a hybrid work model with two days of work from home. The company employs around 900 people globally, with half of them based in Israel.

Role Overview:

You will be part of a team working on products related to Asset Management, conducting research and analyzing network behavior and applications as part of the company's security products. The security products include NGFW, CASB, DLP, device management, and more.

Tech Stack: Wireshark, Kibana, Elastic, Python, IPS, Firewall, IoT.

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on experience in the cyber/security/network industry
• Knowledge of networking architecture, OSI model, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP) – a must
• Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python – a must
• Experience with SQL or data analysis tools (Kibana, Elastic,etc) – a must
• Experience (Hands-on) with Wireshark and PCAP analysis or similar tools
• Researcher mindset: define a thesis and validate it based on in-depth analysis and technical facts
• Experience with statistics – Advantage
• Experience with signature development for IPS, Firewall, iOT protection, etc - Big advantage
• Excellent English and communication skills
• Team player, responsible, critical thinker and well-organized
