Product Support Engineer

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will report to the technical support manager, who will agree expectations, offer guidance as necessary, and provide framework support.

Up to 25-30% travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include

• Troubleshoot complex system problems using strong problem-solving techniques.
• Install systems in customer facilities, execute standard install tests, meet overall installation schedule, and ensure that system performance meets specifications.
• Execute complex system repairs in a quality manner and timely fashion.
• Perform maintenance support to the customer to ensure the tool meets the required specifications.
• Utilize e-diagnostic or software tools for analysis and reporting.
• Timely complete and submit all required paperwork.
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Become a trusted advisor and support service contracts and new tool sales.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree level in related engineering filed such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, physics, or optics and\ or commensurate industry experience.
• One-year experience (or more) as a support engineer\ service engineer\ application engineer\ and device engineer in the semiconductor industry or on a multidisciplinary machine.
• Fluent English (oral and written)- must.
