Front End Team Lead

A high-tech company developing an open-source website-building platform, aiming to transform the way web creators work by enabling the design and creation of professional websites.

The company has millions of users—freelancers and agencies—in over 180 countries.

Located in Ramat Gan – Bursa area, with around 300 employees and a hybrid model of two work-from-home days per week.

The first version of the platform was released about a decade ago, and today it powers over 17 million active websites worldwide.

The company is profitable and not dependent on investor funding.

Role description:

Frontend Team Lead, managing 6 developers, with 20–30% hands-on work. Reports to the Director.

The team is responsible for the company’s core product. The developers work end-to-end and are highly independent – a team of senior engineers.

Codebase is in ReactJS.

The team is currently leading a major rewrite of the core product, which serves millions of users.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Front-End Team Leader in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Strong experience in performance optimization, accessibility, and best front-end practices.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries .
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Solid understanding of build tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to make technical decisions confidently.
