NLP Data Scientist

We are looking for an experienced NLP focused data scientist to take on high-impact challenges across diverse domains in healthcare. These are complex problems with many unknowns- problems that, when solved, will improve the lives of millions around you. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong background in deploying NLP models to production and a passion for making messy, real-world data useful. Who you are:

• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python with expertise in libraries like Transformers, SpaCy, scikit-learn, PyTorch and TensorFlow
• You understand how AI works under the hood-not just how to use the tools.
• You're worked with relational (and other) databases and can write SQL queries.
• You're a clear communicator and can explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll do:

• Analyze complex, unstructured textual data and derive actionable insights.
• Work on large-scale NLP tasks, including text classification, entity recognition, and information extraction.
• Work closely with clinicians, data engineers, MLOps and researches.
• Help bring ideal from concept to implementation in real clinical settings.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with healthcare or clinical data.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and model deployment workflows.
• Academic publications or open-source contributions.
• Experience with ElasticSearch for scaling and querying text-based data.
