The Application Security group has been leading the Application Security Testing market for the last 20 years with the AppScan suite of products, covering Cloud-based services, Enterprise solutions, Desktop applications & Development integrations. In addition, the team has been the market leader of Application and Mobile Security Research.

HCL AppScan is Looking for an excellent Front End Engineer as part of the our cloud security team.

Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Frontend Developer with a strong background in Angular, TypeScript, and modern web development practices. You'll play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-quality products.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing web applications with Angular 8+.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SASS, LESS, or other CSS preprocessors.
• Solid understanding of RxJS, observables, and state management libraries such as NgRx or NGXS.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, component architecture, and application integration.
• Experience with scalable application design and modular code organization.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Nx monorepos.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and end-to-end testing using Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years' experience in frontend development
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
