Laboratory Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Service Engineer to provide technical support for laboratory instrumentation in chemistry, automation, and immunology at hospitals and central labs across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of laboratory equipment
• Provide operational training and immediate, detailed service reports
• Oversee spare‑parts procurement and returns, managing both technical and budgetary aspects
• Conduct safety updates per manufacturer and Ministry of Health guidelines
• Ensure high customer satisfaction among physicians, biomedical engineers, and technicians
• Provide phone‑based support to resolve client inquiries
• Perform quality checks according to manufacturer standards
• Work flexible hours, including extended shifts, weekends and on‑call rotations

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electronics Engineering
• Proven experience servicing diagnostic laboratory instruments
• High level of proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
• Willingness to work non‑standard hours (weekends, on‑call, holidays)

Nice to Have

• Computer networking or IT support background
• Prior medical‑device service experience

Full‑time position with overtime as needed • On‑call rotation shared among the team throughout the year
